I was very busy in the run up to Christmas, completing five new bespoke Shelf-Portrait oil painting commissions.
Mission Accomplished!! So now that they have been delivered and given to their new owners, I can share them with you….
This one is called ‘Things Can Only Get Better’….
If you’re at the Piece Hall in Halifax, pop in to the Yorkshire Gallery and you’ll find some Tired Pelicans taking refuge there….
Along with a selection of my Shelf-Portrait Limited Edition Giclee prints….
A new home in Hebden Bridge for my ‘So Hebden Bridge’ Shelf-Portrait, and a most successful end to my Shelf-Life exhibition at Northlight Art Studios.
Looking forward to taking the remaining new work down to Brick Lane for the New Artist Fair next week…
”Public accomplishments and hidden secrets. Old Friends and loves lost. Simple jokes and profound truths. This bookshelf encapsulates half a century of the inside of my head. More intimate and more telling than any facial portrait could ever be.
